James Irvin Cain, 62 of Farmville, passed away Dec. 2. Funeral service was held on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 11 a.m., at the Chapel of Reid’s Funeral Home, Dillwyn. Reid’s Funeral Home of Dillwyn served the family.

Isabel Scott Wright, 94 of Jackson, Tennessee, formerly of Prospect, passed away Dec. 6. Funeral service was held on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m., at Peaks Baptist Church, Prospect. Interment was in the church cemetery. Bland-Reid Funeral of Farmville served the family.
