Beatrice Gregory Banks, 85 of New Canton, passed away Feb. 3. Funeral service was held on Monday, Feb. 10, noon, at Baptist Union Baptist Church, Dillwyn. Interment was in the church cemetery. Reid’s Funeral Home of Dillwyn served the family.

Eligah M. Gray, 82 of Monroe Township, New Jersey, passed away Feb. 3. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 13, noon, at Holy Trinity Baptist Church, Dillwyn. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.

Rev. Dr. J. Samuel Williams Jr., 91 of Farmville, passed away Feb. 3. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, noon, at New Life Church, Farmville. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Farmville. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.

Mable Jean (Blanton) Paige, 69 of Farmville, passed away Feb. 2. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, noon, at the Chapel of Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville.
