Store offers unifying activities

Members of the Piedmont Area Veterans Council and Community Resources organized a community activity at The Veterans Clothes Closet at 146 N. Main St. The activity, called “Pack Your Purse,” asked participants to pack as many household items as they could fit in their purses. After reading from a list and finding the participant with the most items in their purse, the store awarded a gift basket with $250 worth of spa items, candies and other treats. We commend the Piedmont Veterans Council for holding activities that seek to bring the community together and bring awareness to resources for area veterans and their families.
