Marjorie Fallen Huskey

Marjorie Fallen Huskey passed away on December 19, 2018, at the age of 89. She was born in Halifax County on July 6, 1929, the youngest child of Willie and Maggie Noblin Fallen. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Harris Huskey. She is survived by her daughter Debbie DuVal, (George) , and son Danny Huskey (Jean).

She and her mother moved to Farmville in the 1940’s, where she graduated from Farmville High School in 1946. She returned the next year to complete post graduate studies in secretarial skills, and was employed by R.A. Wilmouth Bookkeeping Services for 22 years. She joined the Farmville Baptist Church in 1952, where she was a long time member of the Ruth Sunday School class. She enjoyed bowling, travel, and memberships in various civic clubs including the Happy Home Demonstration Club, later known as Serendipity Club, as well as the Farmville ABWA, where she was awarded woman of the year in 1984.

Graveside funeral services were held at Westview Cemetery on Saturday, December 22 at 11 am. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Farmville Baptist Church. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.www.puckettfh.com.
