Mary Louise Crump Amos

Mary Louise Crump AmosMary Louise Crump Amos, 84 of Buckingham, passed peacefully on Friday, March 22. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a retired seamstress of After 6 Formal Wear. 

Mary was a daughter of the late Newton Claude Crump Sr. and Lottie Vanderpool Crump. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, John Otis Amos; son, John Alan Amos; daughter, Janet Anne Amos and brother, Newton Claude Crump Jr. 

Mary is survived by daughter, Penny Melissa Amos, of Esmont; two granddaughters, Caitlyn Marie Amos and Christyn Alexis Amos, both of Christiansburg; and two sisters, Linda C. Hurak of Clemmons, North Carolina and Shirley Arrington of Amelia. 

The family will receive friends at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, Friday, March 29, from 1 until 2 p.m. then will proceed to the Buckingham Community Cemetery for a graveside service at 2:15 p.m. 

Dunkum Funeral Home of Dillwyn is serving the family.
