Lancers add four to men’s’ tennis roster

The Longwood men’s tennis team has added four student-athletes for the 2024-25 season, Director of Tennis Carlos Lora announced Thursday.

Joining the Lancers this season are graduate transfer Juan Gonzalez Paiva and freshmen Petter Lindquist, Marko Mrdak and Ian Perl.

“I am very excited about the incoming class that we have for our men,” Lora said. This group of freshmen that we have coming in with Marko, Petter and Ian have a lot of competitive experience at a very high level internationally and domestically. We also have a great transfer in Mauricio Gonzalez Paiva who was named as an All-American last year at Southeastern Oklahoma State.
