Mamie Simmons Eppes, 82 of Burkeville, passed away Jan. 15. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 23, 1 p.m., at High Rock Baptist Church, Rice. Interment will be in the Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.

Virginia Eppes Stanton, 80 of Burkeville, passed away Jan. 13. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2 p.m., at High Rock Baptist Church, Rice. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Bland-Reid Funeral Home is serving the family.
