Dr. James H. Taylor, III married July 11, 1970 to former Olivdean Silver of Enfield North Carolina. They are proud parents of four children and six grandchildren. They reside in Richmond. Dr. and Mrs. Taylor are pastor and first lady of the Jericho Baptist Church (formerly Race Street) in Farmville, for the past 28 years. He is also the chaplain for the Farmville Police Department.
