WINGINA, June 25 – Wilson W. “Blacksheep” Robertson Sr., born February 12, 1961, 52, died suddenly at his home in Wingina on Saturday, June 22, 2013. He was the son of the late Claude and Mabel Robertson of Wingina.
The last 34 years of his life was spent making his living driving tractor-trailer trucks and he had most recently started his own logging operation. He was full of life and could put a smile on the face of anyone he came in contact with. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patricia Carter Robertson; children, Jennifer Robertson and Todd Cash of Wingina, Wayne Robertson Jr. of Wingina and Emily and Donnie Adams of Gladstone; two grandchildren, Tai'Vone Skeens and Hallie Adams; sister, Audrey Robertson of Wingina; special mother-in-law, Hallie Carter of Gladstone and a number of in-laws, cous-ins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 26 at 2 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home with interment in The Scottsville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday (tonight) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
