FARMVILLE – The Board of Directors of Centra Southside Community Hospital (CSCH) elected two new members to three-year terms beginning January 1, 2013. They include Harold Harris and Patricia “Tricia” Tucker. They bring a wide variety of experience in various fields to the important task of providing quality health care to the people of Prince Edward County, and the surrounding counties.

Harold Harris was born and raised in Charlotte County, and now resides in Rice with his wife, Barbara and two children. He attended Hampden-Sydney College where he received a BA in Economics with a concentration in Management. Currently, he is the Regional Lending Manager of Colonial Farm Credit in Farmville.

“As a person who grew up and currently resides in Southside Virginia, I see how fortunate we are to have the facilities and services available that CSCH provides, says Harris. ” I look at this as an opportunity for me to play a small but vital role in our community that has provided so much for me over the years.”

Patricia Tucker, born and raised in Charlotte County, is a registered nurse, and the co-owner of Tucker Timber Products. She graduated from the Virginia Baptist School of Nursing, and keeps her license current. She has two sons, a daughter, and three grandchildren, all living in Charlotte County and Prince Edward County.
