The Piedmont Area Junior Livestock Show and Sale will be held Saturday, May 18, at Southside Livestock Markets, Inc. in Blackstone. The show allows 4-H and FFA youth ages nine-19 to exhibit in competition their beef, swine, and sheep projects. These projects help teach responsibility and the show provides for healthy competition and cooperation with peers and adult volunteers.

The swine show will begin at 10 a.m. with the beef show at 12:30 p.m. and the lamb show at 2:15 p.m. Awards will be given to participants at 6:35 p.m. and the sale of champion animals begins at 7 p.m.

The public is invited to come and support area youth as they participate in the show and sale.
