Man arrested in Brew House break-in

A 42-year-old Farmville man was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 5, following a breaking and entering of the Brew House Restaurant located at 201 N. Main St. in Farmville.
The breaking and entering occurred between the hours of 10 p.m. Jan. 22 and 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan 23.
Paul Matthew Kelley, the manager of the Brew House at the time of the incident, was arrested and charged with one felony count of property damage and two misdemeanors counts of, unlawful entry and embezzlement, according to Farmville Police Department Captain William Hogan.
Kelley was released by a magistrate on a $1,000 unsecured bond.
According to Hogan, Kelley allegedly entered the restaurant after hours, consumed alcohol, which he did not pay for and caused damage to the inside of the building.
Another individual was with Kelley at the time but has not been charged, according to Hogan.
