Buckingham County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8446 has won the coveted title of All-American Post. This is the first time in the history of the post to achieve this national level recognition.

VFW 4th District Commander Gus Villalobos and State Senior Vice Commander Eric Mallett presented Buckingham Post Commander Victor Moss with the Red, White and Blue All-American Commander’s Cap during a 4th District meeting in Farmville on Saturday.

Commander Villalobos said, “The Buckingham Post and its accomplishments are worthy of emulation, not just at the state level but at the national level. Achieving All-American Post recognition is not an easy task for a rural post but they managed to make it happen.”
