Editor, The Herald:

We at Arvonia Fire Department would like to thank each business and individual that donated items for our Spring Auction.

Without the generosity of the community it would be hard for all the Volunteer Fire Departments to survive and be able to buy new gear and stay equipped to fight fires and other emergencies.

It never matters what type of fundraising event we have, whether it be the auctions, barbecues, etc., the community has always been there for us.

Also we greatly appreciate the great announcements for events we get from Tana Knott in the Buckingham news section of The Herald for our Department and for our Auxiliary when they gave events.
