Debra Wallace is happy to announce the engagement of her daughter, Holly Michelle, to Ralph Jacob Hamlett, son of Patricia and Jeffery Miller and the late Ralph Hamlett.

Holly is the daughter of Debra Wallace and the late Robert Scott Wallace and granddaughter of Geneva Turbyfill and the late JB Turbyfill, and Judy and Edward Mottley. She is a 2007 graduate of Longwood University with a BS in Kinesiology, concentration in Exercise Science. She now holds a certification as a Health Fitness Specialist.

Jacob is the brother of Sarah Hamlett Blackwell, and Matthew Sprinkle and grandson of Bernice and the late Francis Sprinkle, and the late Allen and Mary Ellen Hamlett. He is a 2010 graduate of SVCC School of Nursing, and is a practicing LPN. He has held positions as vice mayor, mayor, and member of Town Council in the Town of Pamplin.

The wedding will be held at Piedmont Church of Christ, Farmville, on May 18. The couple plans to reside in Pamplin.
