Richard Allen Fleming, 77

DANVILLE, March 19 – Richard Allen Fleming, 77, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at his home in Danville. He was born May 8, 1935 in San Francisco, CA to the late Ernest H. and Geraldine Castle Fleming.
He was married to his loving wife, Donna, for almost 50 years.
Mr. Fleming was the owner of B&F Auto Parts, here in Farmville. He was a member of the Appomattox Seventh Day Adventist Church, where he was an elder for many years. He was a wonderful father and loving husband. Mr. Fleming enjoyed his grandchildren, especially at his farm where he could drive them around on his tractor or four-wheeler. He was well known in the community because of his business and his loving heart toward anyone in need. He was generous to many charities and supported organizations that benefited children.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; three daughters, Denise Lee (John) of Danville, Tracy Campbell (Clarke) of Appomattox, and Kimberly Epperson (Tom) of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Samuel Campbell, Caroline Lee, Allison Lee, Tyler Epperson and Baylor Epperson; and siblings, Gerald Fleming, Dana Inman and Marge Inman all of MN. He was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Bourgious.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 20 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Appomattox Seventh Day Adventist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 19 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
