Former Cumberland County High School multi-sport standout Bria Anderson has established herself as a key contributor on Virginia State University’s excellent volleyball squad and was one of three Trojans named to the 2019 All-Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Preseason Volleyball Team. Anderson, pictured above competing for the Trojans, has served her team as a setter, leading the program last season with 790 assists. The team made program history in 2018 with a CIAA Championship match appearance in addition to a Northern Division title and a 22-13 record. The Trojans are predicted to finish first in the Northern Division and in the conference this year. Anderson is entering her junior year.
