Meherrin Fire & Rescue Chief Trey Pyle, left, was recently presented two donations of $8,333, one for fire services and one for rescue squad services, from Container First Services (CFS) in Lunenburg County. CFS, which operates the Lunenburg Landfill, donated a total of $50,000 to Meherrin Fire & Rescue and a number of fire and rescue organizations in Lunenburg.
