Tyler Blevins named ODAC Baseball Player of the Week

Hampden-Sydney College senior Tyler Blevins has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Baseball Player of the Week for the period of March 18-24.
Blevins, the team captain and starting first baseman, led the Tigers to a 3-0 week with an 11-6 win against the University of Lynchburg and 12-6 and 6-1 wins over Eastern Mennonite University while hitting .667, 6-for-9, with one home run, one double, five runs, four RBIs, three walks, a sacrifice fly, and he was hit by a pitch, as well, for an on-base percentage of .714 and a slugging percentage of 1.111.
Through 19 games, all starts, Blevins is tied for the team lead in homers, triples, walks and sacrifice flies.
