Wallace and Cindy Owen, of Crewe, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Virginia “Ginny” Owen, to Brandon Moyer, son of Larkin and Cecelia Moyer, of Amelia.

Ginny is the granddaughter of Gin Nelson, of Farmville, the late Jack Nelson, of Prospect, and the late Herbert and Jean Owen, of Keysville. She graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Tech in 2012 with a degree in Building Construction and a minor in Green Engineering. Ginny is currently employed as a project engineer with the construction firm, Barton Malow.

Brandon is the grandson of Charles and Barbara Moyer, of Ame-lia, and Aleene Wagner and the late Paul Craun, of Weyers Cave. Brandon graduated from Virginia Tech in 2011 with a degree in Dairy Science and a minor in Agricultural Economics. He is em-ployed by the family farm, Oakmulgee Dairy in Amelia.

A June 8 wedding is planned.
