Raymond Sinclair Scruggs

Raymond Sinclair Scruggs, 97 of Rice, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife Melva Lee Scruggs. Raymond was a member of the Pisgah Baptist Church. He was a farmer and loved the land. He is survived by his family and friends and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday, March 25, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Shorter Funeral Home with interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery in Burkeville, Virginia.

Family received friends from 6-7 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, at Shorter Funeral Home.
