Impact (FONSI)

The United States Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency (FSA) issues FONSI for a proposal which includes land-use conversion and establishment of permanent pasture for goat and cattle grazing. The FSA Farm Loan Program has received a direct loan application for purchasing 120.27 acres located at the end of Snead Road (State Road F-795) and adjoining Highway 460 in Prince Edward County, VA to be utilized for the establishment of permanent grass pasture for goat and cattle grazing. FSA completed an Environmental Assessment (EA) and has determined that the proposed activity will not have significant effect on the human environment; therefore, no environmental impact statement shall be prepared.

The Final EA and FONSI can be reviewed in person through January 25, 2013 at the Mecklenburg County FSA office located at 1028 Madison Street, Boydton, VA 23917-3408, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
