Prince Edward County High School’s varsity girls swimming team placed third out of four teams competing in a meet Friday night, edging Appomattox County High School by 13 points. Prince Edward’s boys and girls squads were the home teams, hosting Goochland High School, Nandua High School and Appomattox. Goochland won among the boys and girls teams, Nandua placed second among both, and Appomattox claimed third among the boys while Prince Edward finished fourth with 26 points earned by only six swimmers.
