The Master Gardener Volunteer Training class will be from Feb. 18 – April 27, held Monday or Thursday nights (depending on the week), from 6-9 p.m., at the Prince Edward County Extension Conference Room, 100 Dominion Drive, Farmville. All volunteers are trained with at least 50 hours of horticultural classes and return at least 50 hours of volunteer community service. The application deadline is Feb. 1. Orientation is Feb. 18, 6-9 p.m. The training cost is due after you receive a Notification of Acceptance and sign the Intern Agreement.
