Take a trip in 2019

Something exciting is going to happen in 2019. The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a nonprofit organization, is sponsoring a three day, two night trip to Lancaster Pennsylvania Tuesday, April 2, through Thursday, April 4. The trip includes round trip motorcoach transportation, two nights lodging, two deluxe continental breakfasts, two dinners, a two-hour farmland tour, time for shopping and the show “Jesus,” at the Sight and Sound Theater.
A large crowd attended the 2018 annual Christmas lunch at the home of James and Virginia Boyles on Sunday, Jan. 30. A great time was had by all.
Cumberland County Landfill Awareness Committee welcomes all citizens of Cumberland County and surrounding counties to a community meeting concerning the proposed landfill to learn more and receive information about the stand against this issue. The Cumberland County Board of Supervisors monthly meeting is held every second Tuesday unless otherwise announced at 7 p.m. in the Cumberland County Courtroom.
Happy birthday wishes are sent out this week to: T. J. Waycaster of Powhatan on Saturday, Jan. 5, the Rev. Clyde Senger of Crewe on Sunday, Jan. 6, and Angie Sprouse of Cumberland on Thursday, Jan. 10.
The Buckingham County Christian Association will be hosting their annual Board of Directors meeting to make plans for the 2019 Year. The meeting will be held at the Buckingham County Public Library on Tuesday at 1 p.m. All board members please make plans to attend.
The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association a nonprofit organization will be entering its 31st year as a group. All members and prospective members are asked to come and join us for our first meeting and lunch Saturday, Jan. 12, at 1 p.m. at Welcome Wesleyan Church located on U.S. route 15 North 26565 James Madison Hwy., Dillwyn. All members are asked to bring a covered dish for the meal. Following will be the January program.
