Pearson Equipment, located at 3466 W. Third St., recently closed, according to an announcement from the equipment rental company.

The Farmville location closed Dec. 21.

“Over the past 15 years Pearson Equipment has had the pleasure to provide rentals, sales and service of equipments to our customers here in Farmville and the surrounding areas,” an announcement placed on the door of the Farmville location cited. “We have developed a great customer base here in the community and hope to still serve the area from our Lynchburg branch.”

All account payments are asked to be remitted to the Lynchburg branch at 3900 Harris Lane, Lynchburg VA 24501.

When the Herald contacted the Farmville location prior to the closure, the manager recommended contacting the Lynchburg branch. A representative of the Lynchburg branch declined to comment on the Farmville location closure.
