Cumberland County Landfill Awareness Committee welcomes all citizens of Cumberland County and surrounding counties to a community meeting concerning the proposed landfill to learn more and receive information about the stand against this issue. A nice crowd of family members attended the annual Christmas brunch at the home of T.J. and Stephanie Waycaster and family on Sunday, Dec. 23,. A great time was had by all.

The Cumberland County Board of Supervisors monthly meeting is held every second Tuesday unless otherwise announced at 7 p.m. in the Cumberland County Court Room.

The Buckingham County Christian Association will be hosting its annual board of directors meeting to make plans for the 2019 Year. The meeting will be held at the Buckingham County Public Library Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 1 p.m. All board members make plans to attend.
