The Moton Museum and event sponsor Centra Southside Community Hospital recently hosted its monthly community prayer breakfast. James Ashton, Pastor, First Baptist Church; Rev. Van Petty, Tearwallet Baptist Church; Janice Johnson, Centra Southside Community Hospital; and the Rev. Everett Berryman, Christian Fellowship. The Moton breakfast is held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 a.m. and is free and open to the public. The next Prayer Breakfast will be Jan. 8.
