Happy Birthday wishes go out to Cheryl Miles, of Richmond, celebrating on Thursday, November 20, the daughter to Tom Snead of Glenn Allen.
Barry and Linda Miles, of Cumberland, along with Cheryl Canipe, of Henrico, enjoyed breakfast at a Midlothian Restaurant on Saturday, November 18.

Buckingham Baptist Church, located on North James Madison Highway, will host a special Gospel Sing on Sunday, November 16.
Southern Gospel Music will begin at 11 a.m. with The Skyline Boys from Purcellville. A love offering will be received. Following this will be a covered dish meal in the church fellowship hall.

Maranatha Baptist Church, located on Tuggle Road in Farmville, will be hosting special services on Sunday morning, November 16.
Bro. Kyle Austin of Deep Gap, North Carolina, will be with us in the 10 a.m. Sunday school hour and the 11 a.m. worship hour sharing how to begin college ministry campus in the area.

Spreading God’s Gifts, Inc. is a local non-profit homegrown faith-based ministry organization that assists working individuals or families in need, primarily serving Buckingham and surrounding counties.
On Saturday, November 15, there will be a spaghetti dinner/concert at the VFW Hall on U.S. Route 60 in Buckingham. Dinner will be served from 4:30 – 6 p.m. Dinner will include spaghetti, salad, roll, dessert and beverage for a donation. There will also be door prizes given away. At 6 p.m. Smokey Wilson, of Concord, will be in concert brining Southern Gospel Music. Funds resulting from this event will help individuals and families in the hour of need. All are invited to come join the fun at the 32nd Annual Holly Days Bazaar Arts and Crafts Show on Saturday, November 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Powhatan elementary School, located on old Buckingham Road (Rt. 13).
