Farmville Police Department is currently searching for a burglary suspect believed to have been involved in a commercial burglary in the 900 block of East Third Street on Monday morning, according to a release from the department.

“Upon investigation, it appeared a single suspect forcibly entered the business shortly before 4 a.m. and stole property and money from the business,” the release cited. “The suspect was wearing a hoodie, gloves and had their face covered.”

Farmville Police Chief A.Q. “Andy” Ellington said as of Tuesday morning, there has been no update on the case.
