Papa John’s, located in the Town of Farmville at 1107 E. Third St., recently closed, a representative from the Papa John’s corporate office confirmed Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Peter Collins, a spokesperson for the corporate office, said the company is interested in potentially reopening the restaurant at a later time.

“Papa John’s can confirm that this franchise location in Farmville has closed,” a statement issued Tuesday from the corporate office cited. “We’re grateful to all of our loyal customers and are interested in reopening this location or another location in Farmville with a qualified franchisee partner in the future.”

Collins could not give a specific reason for the closure.
