Carving out fun time

Young people and their families donned costumes and got the chance to paint pumpkins, make paper bag puppets and even carve pumpkins during the Barnes & Noble at Longwood’s Halloween Pumpkin Party Saturday at 200 N. Main St.
Participants were served ghost suckers and other Halloween-themed treats during the event.
