Roger Dale Hill

ARVONA, September 2 — Roger Dale Hill, born January 29, 1945, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from melanoma. He was the son of Roy W. Hill Sr. and Nettie Stinson Hill. He was the owner of Roger Hill Insurance Agency and an antique car collector.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Kidd Hill; brothers, Roy W. Hill Jr. (Rita) of New Store, and James R. Hill (Margaret) of Manakin-Sabot; niece, Dana Osborn; three nephews, Jay Hill, Greg Hill and Lyn Hill; six great nephews and three great nieces; and special friend, Ian Williamson, his kidney donor.

A memorial service was held Sunday, August 31 in New Canton.
