CANCELLATION: The VA Department of Veterans will not be at the Farmville library on this date due to inclement weather.

GRAND OPENING, 10 a.m.-noon for Delma’s Wellness Center. The Wellness Center is a community exchange program for durable medical equipment and will be located inside of the Delma’s Pantry building.

101ST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, 11 a.m., hosted by the Robert Russa Moton Museum in partnership with First Baptist Church, to honor the Rev. L. Francis Griffin. The Rev. Griffin’s youngest son, the Rev. Eric Griffin, pastor of Saint Stephen United Church of Christ in Greensboro, North Carolina, will deliver the morning’s message. Everyone welcome.

HOMECOMING, 10:45 a.m. at Glenn Memorial Baptist Church of Prospect,136 Harris Creek Road, Prospect. Following the service there will be a covered dish luncheon and fellowship for time to meet and chat with friends. At 2 p.m. Mark Bishop, noted Southern Gospel performer, will be in concert. MUSIC REVIVAL, 2 p.m. at Glenn Memorial Baptist Church, 146 Harris Creek Road, Prospect. Mark Bishop will kick things off with a one-hour concert, following the Homecoming Service and meal. Monday through Thursday nights, various singers and groups will perform. Nightly services begin at 7 p.m. Everyone welcome.
HOMECOMING/REVIVAL, 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Dillwyn, with Pastor Michael Mosley bringing forth the morning message and the mass choir rendering music. Fellowship dinner will be served. Services will convene Sunday afternoon with prayer and praise service beginning at 2:30 p.m. and worship service at 3 p.m. Afternoon preacher will be Pastor Kevin Caleb of Thessalonia Baptist Church of Fork Union accompanied by his choir and church family. Revival will begin Monday with prayer and praise service at 7 p.m. and worship service at 7:30 p.m. Different choirs each night.
