RICHMOND, August 12 – Pastor John Thomas “Tommy” Anderson, 82, of Richmond, formerly of Prince Edward County, entered Heaven on August 6, 2014. Mr. Anderson ministered for 61 years.

He is survived by wife, Thelma; son, Lewis (Cherie); brothers, Raleigh (Dot), and Joe (Matilda); and sister, Shirley (James). He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hester Anderson; brothers, Allen and Curtis Anderson; and a foster son, Robin Herrman.

A funeral service was held Saturday at Bliley’s Staples Mill Funeral Home, Richmond, with interment in Roselawn Cemetery.

Bliley’s Staples Mill, Richmond, was in charge of arrangements.
