Jane Kremer Bray, 74

PORTSMOUTH, July 22 – Jane Kremer Bray, 74, passed away July 19, 2014. Born in Winchester on December 19, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Kremer and Mary Ruth Kremer.
Mrs. Bray attended Handley High School in Winchester and Lasell College in Newton, MA. She was a devoted wife and mother and known for her kindness and generosity of spirit. She and her loving husband enjoyed traveling and they visited much of Europe, the British Isles, the Mediterranean, Hong-Kong, the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, J. Robert Bray; sons, Morgan Bray of Richmond and Brad Bray of Minneapolis, MN; brother-in-law, Judge Richard S. Bray and wife, Dawn; brother, Tommy Kremer Jr., whom she knew as “TK” and wife, Carolyn; and two nephews, Tommy Kremer III and Randy Kremer and wife, Kelly, all of whom are from Mrs. Bray’s hometown of Winchester.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 25, 11:30 a.m. at Green Acres Presbyterian Church, 3135 Hanley Avenue, Portsmouth, VA 23703, by the Rev. Walt Hunting. Burial will be private. Following the service, a reception will be held in the social hall.
Memorial donations in Mrs. Bray’s name may be made to the church or charity of your choice.
