It has been said that the youth are our future. I believe that is the truth. What do we do every day to invest in that future? This year 50 Cumberland 4-H’ers got the opportunity to participate in Jr. 4-H Camp. Those youth had an amazing week of learning and fun. They would not have been able to have this great experience if it were not for those local businesses and organizations that supported the local 4-H program through donations. I would like to acknowledge and thank the Asal Lumber Company, the Cartersville Garden Club, the Cartersville Ruritan Club, Central Supply, Inc., the Cumberland Clothes Closet, NAPA, Marion’s Bi-Rite, and the Redbud Garden Club for their financial support this year. Please support the Cumberland businesses and organizations that support the future of our county. Let them know that you appreciate their investment.
