At Girl Scouts, girls are always counting down to the next adventure they’ll go on together. Maybe it’s artistic. Maybe it’s an experiment. Maybe it’s getting outside or helping the community. With Girl Scouts, you’ll make a bunch of new friends and have a ton of new experiences that show you how exciting the world is, and how awesome you are, over and over again. Girl Scouts builds courage, confidence and character, and girls who make the world a better place.
Girl Scouts have identified three keys to leadership: girls discover themselves and their values; connect with others; and take action to make the world a better place. At Girl Scouts, everything centers on the girl: activities are girlled, which gives girls the opportunity to learn by doing in a cooperative learning environment. Buckingham County Girl Scouts are accepting K-8 girls and adult volunteers in their journey. Please contact Deirdre Kellner, Membership Manager, at dkellner@ gsvs.org or (434) 382- 8013.
