The Charlotte County Heritage Festival will be held July 12 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at 600 David Bruce Ave., Charlotte Court House with live music from noon until 4 p.m. Newly signed with AMC Records in Nashville, The Gary Wayne Band will perform.

The band plays classic country, blues, R&B, southern rock, new country and some top 40. They will have recorded their first CD when they play in Charlotte County. Be the first to get a signed photograph and t-shirt. There is a contest on Facebook for a signed photograph and shirt.

The cost is $10 per person, 16 and under free. In case of rain the festival will be held at Randolph-Henry High School. It will be a fun filled day with Sunshine the Clown, face painting, famous funnel cakes by St. Johns Lodge, food, beverages, and vendors. Take a ride with Draft Horse Adventures through Historic Charlotte Court House.

Bring a chair and enjoy an afternoon of music and food and help a non-profit organization raise money for scholarships for students and to document history, genealogy and cemeteries. All proceeds go to the Charlotte County Historical and Genealogical Society LLC of Virginia.
