A hearing for an injunction in relation to the Green Ridge landfill will be held Monday, July 30, at 10 a.m., as was confirmed by the Cumberland County Circuit Court Office and Bill Bruce, who filed the injunction.

The hearing will take place at the Cumberland County Courthouse at 1 Courthouse Circle.

An injunction, according to the Legal Information Institute, is a court order requiring a person to do or cease doing a specific action.

Bruce said he encouraged members of the community to attend the meeting and for those in favor of the injunction to be at the courthouse by 9:30 a.m. Monday.
