FARMVILLE- In observance of Independence Day, Wednesday July 4, the Town of Farmville Public Works Department will be closed. There will be no residential or business garbage pickup, cardboard pickup or miscellaneous/brush pickup in the town of Farmville.

“Wednesday’s residential garbage will be picked up Friday, July 6.” town officials said in a press release. “There are no changes to the recycling collection.
