Members of the Friends of the Appomattox River (FAR) recently built 20 bluebird houses which will be for sale at their booth at the Heart of Virginia Festival on May 3. The bird boxes are made of eastern red cedar and are built according to the Virginia Bluebird Society specifications. They will sell for $10 and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
