ARIZONA, April 17 — Scientist and education advocate, Dr. Samuel S. Jones, 91, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Buckingham County, died Friday, April 11, 2014.

He is survived by his sister, Martha Ellen Holmes of Buckingham.

A memorial service will be held in Buckingham at a later date.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, is serving the family.
