The 2018 Buckingham County High School varsity softball team endured a string of losses after a strong start this year, but the Lady Knights set a positive tone for the remainder of the season May 2 with their 16-6 home win over Cumberland County High School. The win improved their overall record to 5-6 with as many as seven games remaining on the regular season schedule.
