BARBECUE SUPPER, 4-7 p.m. at Red Oak Excavating sponsored by the Relay team “Friends for a Cure.” All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. Tickets can be purchased from any Relay team member or at the door.

SPECIAL MUSIC, 11 a.m. by Smokey Wilson Gospel during the morning worship service at Fitzgerald Memorial Baptist Church.

CONCERT, 7 p.m. featuring Bill Joyner and the Gospel Express at Rough Creek Presbyterian Church. Light refreshments following the concert. All are welcome. The church is located 3 miles north of Phenix on Highway 727.

IN HATS PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Peaks Baptist Church, 1948 Peaks Road, Prospect. Guest, First Lady Sister Dennine J. Smith of Second Missionary Baptist Church, Kokomo, Indiana. Peaks Baptist Male Chorus will render the music.

YOUTH CHOIR ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. of the Antioch Baptist Church, Keysville. Everyone is welcome to come out and worship with us.

MISSION DAY, 3 p.m. of the Cumberland Missionary and Educational Conference at Bright Hope Center. All are welcome.

COMMUNITY HYMN SING, 3 p.m. of the Buckingham Community Choir at New Hope Baptist Church. All funds raised will go to the preservation project of Alexander Hill Baptist Church. This building is now on the historical register. New Hope is located at 1909 Cartersville Road, in the Gold Hill section of Buckingham.

THE GREAT FARMVILLE DUCK DERBY, 5,000 rubber ducks will set sail on the Appomattox with a destination of Riverside park. All proceeds will benefit the partners of The United Way of Prince Edward County. You can purchase a duck or a quack pack at the Chamber office.

A RACY AFFAIR, a Kentucky Derby-themed fundraiser at J&J Treeland in Prospect. This is Piedmont Senior Resources biggest fundraiser, raising money to keep seniors across surrounding counties safe and secure in their homes. For more information, call PSR at (434) 767-5588.
