Community prayer breakfast

The Moton Museum, with event sponsor Centra Southside Community Hospital, recently hosted its monthly community prayer breakfast. April 2018 prayer leaders included from left, Mrs. Julie Flores, chaplin, Centra Southside Community Hospital; Lynette Coe, circuit court clerk, Prince Edward County; Melinda Toney, Peaks Baptist Church; Terri Atkins Wilson, Farmville United Methodist Church; Jackie Fells, first lady, Mercy Seat Baptist Church; and the Rev. Vatel Allen, pastor, New Hope Baptist Church. The Moton breakfast is held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 a.m. and is free and open to the public. The next prayer breakfast will be on May 1.
