Arrests made in burglary, thefts

Farmville Police arrested two suspects in connection to the theft of three vehicles and the breaking and entering into Farmville Sporting Goods on March 9.
Police said Savion L. Garland, 19, of Meherrin, has been arrested and charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny in relation to Farmville Sporting Goods. Additional charges are expected. Police said Garland is currently being held in Piedmont Regional Jail on a $3,000 bond.
A 17-year-old Farmville juvenile has also been arrested and faces the same charges. The teen is currently being held in the Piedmont Regional Juvenile Detention Center. Charges are also pending against a second 17-year-old juvenile from Crewe.
“Farmville Police are actively seeking the whereabouts of Devin Anthony James Walcott, 19, of Glenn Allen,” police said. “Walcott is a black male, 5’ 7” tall, black hair, brown eyes, and weighs approximately 145 pounds. Multiple felony warrants are on file for Walcott in connection to these crimes.”
