Common sense on guns

Assault weapons are “weapons of war.” They were designed for one purpose: to kill the largest number of people in the shortest amount of time. I, along with many survivors of the recent school massacre in Florida, and many other U.S. citizens support the use of the “weapons of war” by the Military and Law Enforcement Personnel.
However, we also support common-sense limits on the sale of assault weapons, limits on the device that turns guns into “machine guns” (such as “bump stocks”), and limits on large capacity magazines. We do not want to take away people’s hunting guns or other non-assault guns.
Do you think that the authors of the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which was ratified in 1791, ever envisioned the invention of machine guns? How many more innocent children have to die until Congress and the president can find some common-sense solutions?
