Prince Edward County High School’s forensics team placed fourth at regionals. Grace Rust won first in Extemporaneous Speaking, Ellis Jones was second in Prose, Alyssa Spease was third in Prose, Malaysia Jones was third in Poetry and Cally Vogel was second in Storytelling. All of them advanced to this past Saturday’s Super Regionals in Staunton. Connor Stimpert was the alternate for Original Oratory. Timara Smith and Renee Stimpert, Impromptu, round out the team. Pictured are, from left, Malaysia Jones, Ellis Jones, Vogel, Spease, Connor Stimpert, Rust, Renee Stimpert and Smith. We commend these students and their educators on their success.
