LYNCHBURG — Highway work requiring road, lane and structure closures is scheduled, weather permitting, for the week of Feb. 26-March 2. Crews will work on Rural Rustic projects on Route 644 and 662, cut brush at various secondary route locations and work surfaces and respond to customer concerns throughout Buckingham County. Crews will cut brush, work surfaces and respond to customer concerns in Cumberland County. In Prince Edward County, crews will perform sign maintenance on U.S. Route 360, prepare for a Rural Rustic project on Route 691 and cut brush, remove debris, work surfaces and respond to customer concerns throughout the county. On Route 657 over Falling Creek will be closed from March 12 to April 13 for culvert replacement. There will be a detour via Routes 639, 658, 626 and 657.
